The distance between Lisbon Airport and Quinta da Vida Serena is 100 kilometres,
approximately an hour's drive.

ATTENTION: Never take a toll gate signed with a green-white coloured 'V'. This is a toll gate for cars equipped with special device for the toll road. Here you can not draw a toll road ticket.

• Leave the parking lot for rental cars and follow the direction called "Centro".
• Soon you will see a roundabout. Follow the roundabout, direction A1
  (MIND THE TRAFFIC LIGHTS)
• Head for the A1/A12 highways.
• Then take the A8 'Oeste' going to Leiria, Loures.
• Attention: you will need to filter in left pretty quick.
• After a while this highway continues as a toll road.
• Take one of the left toll gates, but not the one on the left end.

After you passed the toll gates the road splits up in two directions. Keep to the left.

Good to know if your rental car is low on gas: there is a petrol station 6 kilometres after the toll entrances.

• Stay on the A8 until you reach the exit for Sao Martinho do Porto/Alfeizerão. Take this exit
• Then take the roundabout and then take the direction to Alcobaça. Stay on this road until you see a big yellow building on your left (Hotel 'Tres Torres'), then take the first exit on your right, to Macalhona.
• Follow this road until you see an intersection. Here you keep left (name of the street: "Rua Principal").
• Follow this road until the next intersection. Here you take a right.
• The first house on your left (painted in white and yellow colours) is Quinta da Vida Serena. WELCOME!

The distance between Porto Airport and Quinta da Vida Serena is 240 kilometres, approximately a two and a half hour's drive.

ATTENTION: Never take a toll entrance signed with a green-white coloured 'V'. This is a toll entrance for cars equipped with a special device for the toll road. Here you can not draw a toll road ticket.

• Take the A1 highway to Lisbon
• Follow the A1 up to Leiria.
• At Leiria take the exit to A8 (direction Marinha Grande).
• Stay on the A8 until you reach the exit for Sao Martinho do Porto/Alfeizerão. Take this exit
• Then take the roundabout and take the direction to Alcobaça. Stay on this road until you see a big yellow building on your left (Hotel 'Tres Torres'), then take the first exit on your right, to Macalhona.
• Follow this road until you see an intersection. Here you keep left (name of the street: "Rua Principal").

Het raadzaam is om op het vliegveld een auto te huren. Maar als u dat niet kunt, dan is onze Quinta ook per openbaar vervoer te bereiken.

In Lissabon moet u eerst vanaf het vliegveld naar het bus/trein station Sete Rios. Deze is per taxi bereikbaar.

Treinverbinding met São Martinho do Porto Van af het station Sete Rios vertrekt de trein naar het noorden. Op de website vindt u op het tabblad "Hórarios e Preços" de tijden en prijzen.

Let wel: deze trein gaat maar 3 keer dag en doet er ruim 2,5 uur over.

Busverbinding met São Martinho do Porto De busverbinding met São Martinho do Porto is veel beter geregeld. Overdag gaat er regelmatig een snelbus naar São Martinho do Porto. Op de websites Rede Expressos en Transport vind u meer informatie. (Let op São wordt op sites vaak ingekort tot S).

Van São Martinho do Porto naar de Quinta Eenmaal is São Martinho do Porto aangekomen, dient u een taxi te nemen naar onze Quinta.
