Muito prazer (We are pleased to meet you) We are Jeanne and Jaap de la Rambelje (born in 1952 and 1955). After spending 35 years of our lives working in the banking industry and the healthcare sector in Holland, we decided to make a leap. We gave up our secure and familiar lives to give it a new impulse in Portugal and to set a different course.

After a long search and lots of consideration we chose to buy this lovely house and turned it into a pleasant Bed & Breakfast which we named “Quinta da Vida Serena”: house of serene life.
