De Quinta faciliteiten Quinta da Vida Serena is a small guesthouse and B & B, uniquely situated between the hills, woods, olive groves and fruit orchards of the region Costa de Prata in Portugal. This area is also known as Extremadura or Costa de Lisboa.

Our B & B is located in the hills between the fruit trees and vineyards. Peace and space to relax and enjoy the surroundings with its beautiful nature. In our garden we have implemented various seating areas, where you can enjoy the picturesque views. All you hear are the birds and the rustling of wind through the eucalyptus trees. Our garden is south facing, so you can enjoy the Sun It's also great to take a swim in our lovely swimming pool (10 x 5) to take.

The farm is situated in a beautiful agricultural area with fields, vineyards, orchards and forests. So perfect for the Quinta hiking trips.There are some beautiful hikes in the area here we have some good walking guides available for you. (Dutch and English). Optionally, an experienced hiking guide for you.

Four guest rooms and one (bed)room Each guest room has been part of the old farm and has the characteristics of an old Portuguese farm




The windows can be small (due to the hot summers), so stay cool. The walls are sometimes more than one meter thick and the ceilings are very high or slightly lower than you're used to in the Netherlands. Through the renovation, every residence converted into a comfortable room.

Although we are a Bed and Breakfast, we have the luxury guest rooms which are given by more facilities to work. All have a standard kettle, coffee maker, microwave, refrigerator and four-bed rooms have a simple kitchen. There is opportunity for wireless internet.
Each guest room has its own entrance from the street and deterioration on the patio. On the patio you have a private terrace with table and chairs. In our garden there are several chairs and loungers that you can freely use. From our patio and garden with swimming pool (at the south-east) you have scenic views over the valley.

The farm (Quinta) is centrally located and close to the highway. The roads are in very good condition and also through the beautiful back roads you can in a short time eg. São Martinho do Porto, Alcobaça, Batalha, Porto de Mos, Fátima, Óbidos, Caldas da Rainha.

Other facilitiesFor your shopping you can find several large supermarkets, not to mention the daily fruit / vegetable markets.

Table d'Hôte Once a week there is a Table d’Hôte. The delicious indonesian meal (MAKAN MAKAN).

Minimum participation 6 persons.

Upon request we organise (with sufficient guests) our great Portuguese BBQ with delicious sardinhas, chicken piri piri and choriço on the grill.

Our swimmingpool Our garden has a lovely pool. You may, as our guest make use of this accommodation unlimited.

After a day out you can relax in the water, but you can also spend the day in and stay around the pool.






The pool measurements are 5x10 meters with Roman steps and rounded corners.

Breakfast Care Of course you can choose to make your own breakfast. But you can also pamper yourself by using a delicious buffet breakfast.

At the reservation you can choose from three options, namely: Even if you haven't booked a breakfast with your reservation, you can obtain this during your stay.

Breakfast will be served during march until october.

We serve breakfast between 08:00am and 10:00am.

If the weather does not cooperate for an outdoor breakfast, you get breakfast served in your apartment with a breakfast basket.

You can then enjoy a relaxing start of the day in your own apartment.
