Praia D' El Rey Golf & Country Club - ÓBIDOS

The sea on the one side, and the golf course on the other side, that stretches out to the dunes, cliffs and pine trees. It was, in this landscape of distant horizons of sand blue sea, that the American golf architect Cabell B. Robinson has created a championship 18-hole course, of 72 par and 6.467 meters. A genuine links course capable of delivering extraordinary moments of rare pleasure to all golf lovers, and offering stimulating challenge to precision with a low handicap.

After the emotion of a competitive game, golfers can relax and enjoy a magnificent view over the sea and the green golf course in a Restaurant. The course golf forms part of the luxury Praia D’El Rei Golf and Country Club tourism complex with several complementary facilities and services.

Only a few kilometres away there is the walled village of Óbidos, with its medieval atmosphere, and the thermal spa of Caldas da Rainha, which has a rich artistic heritage.

Botado Golf Club – PENICHE

The softly sandy beach, the blue sea and the golden sun provide an attractive natural framing for this nine hols golf course, designed by M. Marteleira. The course takes advantage of the rolling dunes and offers the additional challenge of seven strategically located stretches of water. Because of this fact every single golf match game is a challenge to golfers’ skills.

The course is located close to Peniche, a walled sea fishing with rich monuments, in front of the Berlengas Island Nature Reserve.

Golden Eagle Golf Club - RIO MAIOR

The Golden Eagle Golf Club Course, designed by Rocky Roquemore, is located in a 600 hectare farm of gentle rolling hills covered in pine, mimosa and acacia trees, and flowers.
The course occupies a vast area of 92 hectare and has 87 bunkers, 18 hols, seven stretches of water and several “difficult” holes. It is a considerable challenge for the players’ skills.
The welcoming clubhouse and restaurant is ideal for relaxation and chatting. The city of Rio Maior lies nearly, with curious saltwater springs at the bottom of the valley, and the enchantment of a pastoral landscape dotted with colourful vineyards.

Vimeiro Golf Course – VIMEIRO

The Vimeiro Golf Course overlooks the sea. With 9 hols this course is nestled on the two slopes of the Valley of Alcabrichel River.
This course was designed by Frank Pennink, and its rounded hills covered in pine tress and beautiful flowers, provide a feisty challenge to golfers’ skills.
After the game is over, leisure facilities include the beaches of Santa Rita and Porto Novo, and several swimming pools, including a heated pool.
Those with adrenaline to spare may play tennis or enjoy a horse riding in the riding school and along the green cliff tops. A few hundred meters away, the Vimeiro thermal spa offers a peaceful atmosphere and healthy waters.
