The location is very peaceful. The view is outstanding. If you’re looking for peace and quiet, you will love our garden. There will be several seats to sit on in the sun, or a nice cool place in the shadow if you like.

Quinta da Vida Serena is a small guesthouse so you will have all the privacy you need. Especially when you book all three rooms for your children or friends. You would have the whole Quinta to yourselves (besides our own living area). We can accommodate a maximum of 10 guests.

Quinta da Vida Serena offers a fair price. For example, if you would make a reservation for 10 persons for a week (7 nights) during the off-season, it would only cost you 9,80 EURO per night/per person. During the peak-season it would only cost you 11,60 EURO per night/per person. Also see: the  Prices page.

The Quinta also houses our own massage practice, named “Senang”. Here you can make reservations for several massages and treatments such as:

• Classic massage

• Hotstone massage

• Shiatsu massage + moxa

• Pitjitting + cupping

• Reiki

We don’t charge any extra costs such as administration costs or fees for cleaning out the rooms. This saves you up to 50 euros in comparison to other B&B’s.

For groceries you can go to Caldas da Rainha, which is only 15 minutes away (by car). Caldas da Rainha has 8 large supermarkets. Additionally, it has a daily vegetable market in the centre. The city of Alcobaça also has several supermarkets. Therefore, all necessities are nearby without having to stay in a busy city.

The area offers a lot of cultural sightseeing. These cities and sights are all within a range of an hour drive.

Many of our guests come to do walking-tours. The national parks and the beautiful surroundings are very suitable for (Nordic) walking, hiking etc.

The highway (A8) is easy to reach and only 4 kilometres away from our Quinta.
