B&B Lisbon

Lisbon is only 1 hour drive from our Bed and Breakfast Quinta Serena and is easy to visit for a city break. You can travel by car, but there is also  an express bus.
Lisbon is a cosmopolitan city with character The city has a large number of historic buildings, wonderful museums, fantastic viewpoints and many attractions. Lisbon also has a modern side. There are many trendy bars and restaurants and the old trams are in stark contrast to the ultra-modern subway that takes you quickly from one side to other parts of the city. Surprisingly, there is a very lively nightlife.

Famous neighborhoods in Lisbon

Lisbon city is unique. The combination between the authentic (UNESCO) sites and modern museums ensures that you would definitely want to visit this city more frequently. The contrast is huge. The narrow and winding picturesque streets in the Bairro Alto and Alfama are in great contrast with the wide and stately boulevards at Marques De Pombal. The district Belém  on the other hand, is again a combination of stately boulevards lined with authentic sights and museums such as the Jeronimos Monastery and the Tower of Belém both of which are on the UNESCO World Heritage List.
